Family Photographer Hertfordshire: A wander in the poppy fields
As a family photographer you are always on the look-out for amazing backdrops for outdoor photography shoots. When you find one, there is no way you can just drive past! A couple of years ago I found out about a stunning poppy field near Royston. It was so good there was a news piece on it. Poor farmer though! Anyway, I was so excited about it I had to get my own little ones in the frame. Poppy field photo shoot by family photographer Hertfordshire.
I have no idea why, but whenever the camera comes out, Aden decides it’s the perfect time to pull faces and start posing (which is pretty funny considering it’s the complete opposite to the style of photography I love and offer!). After a couple of minutes of distraction, getting down to his level and talking about girls from school (sorry lad!), he forgot the camera was there and became himself again.
Now for what you can’t see in the photos: Aden’s trousers were so muddy and wet by the end of the shoot. It had just been raining and it was so cloudy on the drive down there. I wasn’t even sure if it was worth going ahead with the photo-shoot, but once we got there the sun came out. Then, at the end I gave Aden the camera- much to his delight! There were lots of photos of the ground, a very wonky poppy field, a few blurry shots of me and my teeth. I’ll treasure them all the same!
