Hedingham Castle Wedding Photography Essex
A couple of weeks ago I photographed Gemma and Nigel’s Hedingham Castle wedding, alongside my wonderful second shooter Denise. It was simply beautiful.
A bright sunny day in August, a calm morning full of anticipation, excitement and laughter, followed by a beautiful ceremony at the Norman keep, Hedingham Castle. Following this Gemma and Nigel had a laid-back reception in the picturesque gardens among close friends and family. There was lots of laughter, children playing and bees buzzing. Perfect! This was all followed by a heartfelt poem written by Gemma, and a set of romantic portraits to mark the end of a special day. We finished by capturing an emotional first dance.
Thanks so much for having us capture your special day! x
Gemma and her bridesmaids got ready at the quaint Garden Cottage. The photos of Gemma’s Mum helping to put her dress on really puts a smile on my face. One of Gemma’s bridesmaids was Julie, whose The Old Hall Ely Wedding I photographed (and who recommended me to Gemma- thanks Julie!).
What a beautiful, romantic day!
