Outdoor humanist wedding blessing photography Cambridge
Today’s blog post showcases Liz and Aaron’s outdoor humanist wedding blessing photography. Liz and Aaron first had a quiet legal ceremony which meant they could then have their outdoor humanist wedding blessing at The Willow Tree Bourn, Cambridge.
I arrived in the afternoon whilst the groom and groomsmen were finishing up the garden decorations at The Willow Tree Bourn. They made sure everything was perfect- how sweet! The Willow Tree in Bourn, near Cambridge was the perfect venue for Liz and Aaron’s wedding. I love the relaxed, bohemian vibe! Lots of the decor at the wedding was the usual Willow Tree Bourn decor which is one of the reasons Liz and Aaron chose the venue.
Liz and her 8 bridesmaids arrived to all the guests seated in the garden. Aaron was waiting at the bottom of the garden, surrounded by close friends and family. It truly was a day full of love and happiness, and it couldn’t have been more personalised. A friend (called Joey… just like in that episode of ‘friends’!) performed the ceremony. This was followed by personalised vows and lastly readings from friends and siblings.
Later on everyone had drinks around the beautiful willow tree. We managed to sneak in some bride and groom portraits in the meadow opposite the venue while the guests were busy mingling. I am so happy Liz & Aaron invited me to photograph their wedding. This was such a fun, laid-back day and for me, really defined what weddings are all about.
