The Old Hall Ely Wedding Photography: Shabby chic garden marquee
After a recommendation from a friend (Ellie, who’s Burwash Manor wedding was one of the first I shot), Julie contacted me to tell me about the plans for her and Ronan’s Old Hall Ely wedding and to check my availability. Julie had sourced and decorated everything herself for The Old Hall Ely wedding marquee, giving it a shabby chic, light, bright, botanical feel. It looked incredible. The Old Hall Ely was the perfect setting for Ronan and Julie’s wedding with the beautiful backdrop of Ely Cathedral seen from the garden and marquee.
The wedding ceremony took place inside The Old Hall due to stormy skies. We didn’t let the weather beat us though and headed out for some quick group shots and couples portraits before it started to rain. Afterwards, the speeches took place inside the beautifully lit, spacious wedding marquee.
One of my favourite photos from the day is the one of Ronan and Julie both looking at each other during the ceremony.
It was such a pleasure documenting your wedding, Ronan & Julie.
Some kind words:
“We are over the moon with the photos. They are fantastic, you have captured everything perfectly and more. We especially love the one of us looking at Ely Cathedral, I don’t remember you even taking it! Julie xx”
