Rosedew Farm Wedding Photography
“He proposed on top of Mount Kinabalu in Borneo, at dawn on my 30th birthday. It was a long, hard, sweaty trek up the side of the tallest mountain in south east Asia, and he suffered from horrible altitude sickness the entire way up. After 12 hours of climbing, and a night climb that saw him crawling on his hands and knees at one point, we made it to the top, sat down to watch the dawn, and then he asked me to marry him!” -Laura, rosedew farm wedding photography.
Laura and Luke contacted me just a day after they started looking for their wedding photographer. At the time I was running a wedding competition and a month later Laura and Luke were the worthy winners!
It was the combination of hearing about Luke’s proposal, to reading about the secluded, laid-back farm venue with pretty lights, hay bales, and flower trees and the prospect of stunning beach shots at Llantwit Major beach. The beach is just a few minutes away from the farmers barns. Laura has such a creative flair t oo. In fact, the venue comes as a blank canvas, so all the pretty details you can see in the photos are Laura’s marvelous creations! Plus, there was mention of wildflowers (my favourite flowers!).
Needless to say it was a beautiful day- not just aesthetically speaking, but more importantly in terms of the fun and vibrant atmosphere, the inspirational love across generations, the heartfelt speeches and the warmth and hospitality that my second shooter Sheetal and I received.
Thank you Laura and Luke for choosing us as your wedding photographers. Wishing you lots more happy adventures! xx
“Noor these are AMAZING. we’re both in floods of tears! Thanks so much as well for including the picture of me and my grandma in the preview set 🙂 Laura xx”
